Happy V day everyone! Hope you are all having a great day. We are celebrating with a lamb roast and strawberry scones.. Yum!

Ingredients
- 500g self raising flour
- 100g cubed cold butter
- 300 ml milk
- 4 chopped strawberries
- ⅓ tsp cracked black pepper (yes seriously, this works, trust me!)
Instructions
- Rub together the butter and flour to resemble breadcrumbs.
- Mix in the milk, pepper and strawberries until combined.
- Tip out onto a floured surface, knead lightly and form into a ball.
- Roll out to around 2 cm thick
- Put on a floured or lined tray, brush with milk and cook at 200°c for 12-15 mins.
- Serve with butter and baby jam.
