We live in Lincoln, home of the Lincolnshire sausage, so we've been a little spoilt by having such tasty local produce on our doorstep for this one. This is so easy and perfect for warming your little ones cockles on a frosty day.

Ingredients
- 400g sausage meat, this can be bought in a bag (much easier than skinning sausages)
- A pack of pre rolled puff pastry
- 1 egg
- A tsp fennel seeds (optional)
Instructions
- With the long side of pastry facing you, cover evenly with the sausage meat and scattering of fennel seeds, leaving a little border.
- Egg wash the border.
- Begin to roll the two small sides until they meet in the middle.
- Slice into around 8 portions.
- Pop onto a lined baking tray, flatten then down a little, then brush all over with the beaten egg.
- Bake at 200 for 20-25 mins until crisp and golden.
