Penny loves this little 'soup' pasta so instead of risking pasta worms riding up our dining room walls, I opted for her favourite less fun type. Makes enough for 2 big people and 1littlun This portion was gobbled up and she even had seconds!

Ingredients
- 400g sausage meat
- 1 onion
- handful of mushrooms
- 1 clove of garlic
- tin of chopped tomatoes
- fresh thyme
Instructions
- Roll sausage meat into balls then lightly fried for around 10-15 mins until browned all over and cooked through. Alternatively pop them on a tray and bake in the oven for 15-20 mins until cooked through.
- Simple red sauce:
- Lightly fry 1 diced onion, followed by a handful of chopped mushrooms then a clove of finely chopped garlic. Once softened add a carton or tin of chopped tomatoes, a few sprigs of fresh thyme and a pinch of black pepper.
- Because my red sauce isn't super saucy (easier for Penny to eat) I mix the pasta with our homemade pesto *recipe below in news feed*s
